Fall is in full swing in Central Oregon. There are lots of things to do around Bend this weekend, including some great live music shows, a women’s running event, and events and activities for kids and families.

Happy Girls Run
November 4 | Five Pine Lodge, Sisters
Sisters is a fitting location for the Happy Girls Run this fall. Join the 5k run through downtown Sisters or the half-marathon run on the Peterson Ridge Trail. The women’s running event will end with post-race eating and drinking festivities.
Moscow Ballet Great Russian Nutcracker
November 6 | Tower Theatre, Bend
Experience a holiday tradition at the Tower Theatre with a production of the Nutcracker from the Moscow Ballet. The one-night-only performance is part of a nationwide tour of the critically acclaimed ballet from a world-renowned company.
Cascades 10 Fest
November 2-5 | Cascades Theatrical Company, Bend
Bend’s local playwrights get the stage for a weekend. Cascades 10 Fest is a series of ten-minute original plays written by local playwrights produced by Cascades Theatrical Company. There will be eight plays performed by local actors at the Black Box Theater.
Live Music
November 4 at the Belfry, November 2 and 5 at the Domino Room | Bend, Sisters
There are a lot of chances to listen to live music this weekend. Roosevelt Collier Band, a pedal steel guitar band, and Asher Fulero Band will be playing at the Domino Room on Thursday. On Saturday, head to Sisters to see Portland-based Dusu Mali band play at the Belfry. End the weekend with the Kitchen Dwellers, Horseshoes & Hand Grenades and Cascade Crescendo back at the Domino Room on Sunday.
Pop-Up Museum
November 4 | Riverhouse Convention Center, Bend
Created by the Children’s Museum of Central Oregon, the Pop-Up Series is a free arts and science for kids. Held at the Riverhouse Convention Center from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, kids are invited to participate in arts, crafts, science experiments and demonstrations on the theme “Light & Sound.” The museum presents pop-up exhibits throughout the year.
