Constructed in 1916 by Hugh O’Kane, one of Bend’s first businessmen, the O’Kane Building on Oregon Ave. in downtown Bend housed the first county offices. Built on the site of the old Bend Hotel after it burned, the building’s estimated cost was $50,000.
