SUMMARY:Sweeney Todd at the Greenhouse Cabaret
DESCRIPTION:Attend the tale\, of Sweeney Todd. Stephen Sondheim and Hugh Wheeler’s landmark musical tells the tale of a resourceful pie shop owner and a vengeful barber out for blood. After he’s sent away by a corrupt judge\, Sweeney returns to London years later seeking his long-lost family\, and forms an unlikely partnership with Mrs. Lovett\, who serves up pies underneath his former shop. Together\, they wreak havoc on Fleet Street and serve up the hottest – and most unsettling – pies in London. \nPerformed and nicknamed\, “Teeny Sweeney”\, our version stars 11 actors\, rather than a large ensemble. It focuses on the brilliant music and rich storytelling of this haunting tale. \n  \n*Attention: This production contains violence\, blood\, smoke\, sexual assault\, disturbing images\, and loud noises. PG-13+. \nRuns 2 hours and 45 min with a 15 min intermission. 7:00PM START TIME (not 7:30 like usual!) No late seating.
