DESCRIPTION:Join the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention at our Central Oregon Out of the Darkness Walk at Alpenglow Park. \nThe Out of the Darkness Community Walk is a journey of remembrance\, hope\, and support. The Community Walks\, held in hundreds of communities across the country\, are the core of the Out of the Darkness movement\, which began in 2004. These events give people the courage to open up about their own connections to the cause\, and a platform to create a culture that’s smarter about mental health. \nWhether you’ve lost someone to suicide\, support someone who struggles\, or struggle yourself\, join us at the Community Walk. Together\, we can walk towards a world without suicide. \nEvent opens at 10 a.m.\, ceremony begins at 11 a.m.\, and the walk immediately follows. The event is free\, but advanced registration is recommended!
