DESCRIPTION:Sunriver Music Festival’s Piano Showcase is a unique two-day event celebrating multiple genres of piano music in a weekend of concerts\, workshops\, masterclasses\, and musical conversations\, all featuring four fine pianists from the Pacific Northwest. Pianist Michael Allen Harrison (founder of Portland’s popular Ten Grands concert series) crafts a genre-spanning weekend emphasizing the uniqueness and virtuosity of all four performers. Concert I at 7:30 p.m. Friday night; workshops\, masterclasses\, and more throughout the day Saturday; Concert II at 7:30 p.m. Saturday night (the two evening concerts are two completely different programs – you’ll want to attend both!). $80 for all-inclusive full pass ($40 for ages 21 and under) or $35 for individual concert tickets ($10 for ages 21 and under). www.sunrivermusic.org.
