SUMMARY:Beat Beethoven's 5th 5k
DESCRIPTION:This race benefits the Central Oregon\nSymphony which is celebrating its 50th Anniversary this season.  Hard to\nbelieve the symphony has been around that long! \nThe object of the race is for 5k runners to finish before Beethoven’s 5th\nSymphony ends – about 33 minutes.  The music is broadcast over loud\nspeakers at the track.  The people doing the 1 mile walk around the track\nenjoy the music as well as take in the lovely view. \nBeethoven himself will be running the 5k and there’s a fun costume\ncontest. 5k runners are timed by Time2Race.  There are great prizes for\nthe top 3 male and female 5k finishers. Winners will each receive a pair\nof new running shoes.  There’s also a great raffle for all participants\,\nfood\, drink and ribbons for every finisher\, including the kids.
