Create a vibrant self-portrait, Just Like Frida!
In this class, we’ll be working with acrylic paint on canvas to create a vibrant self-portrait like artist Frida Kahlo.
Mexican artist Frida Kahlo is remembered for her self-portraits, which convey her pain and passion, and her bold, vibrant colors. She is celebrated in Mexico for her attention to Mexican and indigenous culture and by feminists for her depiction of the female experience and form.
