Guardian Cellars Bar Takeover! Come meet chemist-turned-cop turned-winemaker Jerry Riener, and taste his wide portfolio of approachable, delicious wines. After years of volunteering at Mark Ryan and Matthews Winery, among others, Jerry went all in and, with his wife and business partner Jennifer, opened Guardian tasting room in 2007. By the end of the first day, every single one of the 375 cases they had produced up to that point had been sold. A few months later, the next vintage release sold out in a little over 3 days. Adjusting for this popularity, they now make 16 different wines and a more than 11,000 cases. This is a great opportunity to meet Jerry, discuss his wines, and maybe even ask him how he met his wife. 😉
