Beacon and Eggs Bash

After rescheduling due to lack of snow, Beacon and Eggs, COAC’s avalanche rescue skills refresher, will finally be happening on January 10th at Wanoga Sno Park!

Kick off the season with a hands-on rescue refresher led by the COAC forecasting team! Whether you’re new to the backcountry or a seasoned rider, this on-the-snow session will help you build confidence and sharpen the skills that save lives.

We’ll cover:
• Signal search, coarse search, and fine search
• Probing and strategic shoveling
• Rescue scenarios

Got questions about multi-burial mode? Want to see how accurate your transceiver is after a few seasons? Bring your gear, test your setup, and get dialed before winter ramps up.

And of course there will be bacon and eggs thanks to @getnanacs!
