Big Wave Challenge

Pro surfers and snowboarders converge on Bend to compete in local Gerry Lopez personal project that brings the surf to the mountain for the benefit of local Pat Malendowski. Featuring a series of huge sweeping banked corners, quarter pipes and spines that are shaped into wave-like features, riders are judged on the same elements as a Big Wave surf competition.
