Award-Winning Chef Adrien Calmels Launches Fine Dining Pop-Up in Central Oregon
A ten-course tasting experience hosted by Arome, celebrates Oregon’s autumn bounty.
Redmond, Ore. 6th and 8th Chef Adrien Calmels, whose career spans Michelin-starred restaurants in Paris, Hong Kong, and New York City, and who was recognized as an upcoming Young Chef by San Pellegrino, has returned to his hometown in Central Oregon to host an intimate fine dining pop-up event this November.
The dinners will take place on November 6th and 8th at Arome in Redmond. The evening will feature a ten-course tasting menu rooted in the micro-seasons and terroir of Central Oregon, with an optional wine pairing curated by the venue. Designed to showcase locally grown, foraged, and fermented ingredients, the menu blends fine dining precision with a deep sense of place.
“This pop-up is about creating a one-of-a-kind experience for the people of Central Oregon — one that highlights the micro-seasons of the Pacific Northwest and fosters genuine connection with guests,” said Calmels. “I have a deep passion for hospitality and look forward to offering an environment where lasting memories can be made. It feels great to be back in my hometown of Bend, sharing what I’ve learned over the past decade working alongside some truly talented chefs.”
Calmels’ approach reflects his experience in some of the world’s most acclaimed kitchens, combined with a commitment to local sourcing and sustainability. Now based in Central Oregon, he continues to build his creative vision through intimate dining experiences that connect guests to the region’s ingredients and seasons.
