Chili Cook-Of
We’re pleased to announce our second annual Sunriver Brewing Company – Brewery Taproom Chili Cook-off! This event will feature a judged competition for those wanting to battle it out for the best chili. The public is also invited to attend the event! Our competitors have been tasked with producing enough chili to sample out to all.
Competition Rules:
$20 competition entry fee (includes one drink ticket) due the day of the event. The entry fee will be matched by Sunriver Brewing Company and donated in full to the HSCO.
Competitors shall produce enough chili to serve the judges (5 samples) as well as enough to provide small samples to the public. A six- or seven-quart vessel should be considered a minimum volume.

This will be an open competition this year, allowing for entries that are traditional, non-traditional, vegetarian, ETC. The competition will be limited to 20 entries this year, with Friday 2/27 being the last day to sign up.
Prizes awarded for:
· Judged – 1st place $100 Gift Card
· Judged – 2nd place $50 Gift Card
· Judged – 3rd place $25 Gift Card
· People’s Choice – $50 Gift Card
· Best entry made with Sunriver Brewing Company beer – $50 Gift Card
Our judging panel features trained palates from Sunriver Brewing Company’s brewery and culinary teams, HSCO Executive Director Amber Kostoff, and local celebrity brewer Tonya Cornett.
What we provide for our competitors:
· Tables
· Disposable chili tasting cups
· Disposable chili tasting spoons
· Electrical outlets and surge protectors for crock pots
Day of event timing:
· Noon: Competitor Set Up
· 1PM: Competition judging begins
· 4PM: Winners announced
