Join us for an intimate portrait of Toni Morrison, Nobel and Pulitzer Prize-winning author, editor, and cultural icon. The film traces her path from Lorain, OH, to the front line of activism alongside Angela Davis, while honoring the legacy she shared with other inspiring Black women, literary giants such as Audre Lorde, bell hooks, Gwendolyn Brooks, Maya Angelou, and Nikki Giovanni. Following the screen, stay for a rich conversation led by Stephanie Andre, Chair of Humanities and Professor of English Literature.
