Hand building Pottery Workshop at Bend Tea & Art Lounge!

Celebrate the new opening of TEAL (Bend Tea & Art Lounge) with a special hand-building pottery workshop designed to honor the beauty and ritual of tea.
Krista of La Luce Studio will guide this 2.5 hour experience, where you will create your own ceramic tea cup, matching saucer, and handcrafted strainer a complete set designed for slowing down and savoring intentional moments.
You’ll learn foundational slab and pinch techniques to form a balanced cup that fits comfortably in your hands, a complementary saucer, and if there is enough time, a functional clay strainer designed to rest gently across the rim. We’ll focus on proportion, refining edges, thoughtful details, and subtle surface textures. Participants can choose clean, minimal lines or add carved elements for a more expressive finish.
This workshop is beginner-friendly and supportive, while still offering depth for those with experience. The process itself becomes part of the ritual, grounding, creative, and calm.
