Come Celebrate the Opening of the New Outdoor Play Area! The community is invited to celebrate the grand opening of the E. L. Wiegand Ponderosa Playscape on Saturday, April 19. This exciting new outdoor space features macro-sized depictions of a ponderosa pine tree’s life cycle, designed to encourage children to learn, climb, explore, and play throughout the entire area. Visitors can experience this ponderosa pine adventure while enjoying kid-friendly snacks and creating a special pinecone craft to take home. The playscape offers numerous opportunities for children to engage with nature through interactive play and educational elements at every corner.
