Small production, sustainably farmed wines that represent the unique characteristics of our vineyards. As a grower and wine producer since 1999 in Oregon’s Willamette Valley, our handcrafted wines begin in the vineyards we own and farm. We emphasize low yields and careful hands-on management of the vines to produce wines that express the unique characteristics of our vineyard sites, including our older vines planted in the early 1970s.
Bill Holloran, Owner, and Mark LaGasse, Winemaker, Holloran Vineyard Wines will guide you through a tasting of their award winning wines.
Tasting Set Includes:
2017 Holloran LePavillon Chardonnay
A deep sniff of the glass provides aromas of creamy blood orange, with a hint of citrus. The 45-year-old own-rooted Chardonnay vines provide a range of flavors on the palate, with orange peel and spicy white chocolate. The finish is extended, with lovely acidity and a palate coating presence that lingers.
2015 Holloran La Chenaie Pinot Noir
The La Chenaie Pinot Noir shows its telltale dusty cherry nose, with bright high-tone aromas. These are typical aromas for the site, and for the hills on the western side of the Eola-Amity Hills. The palate provides beautiful, focused, linear flavors of red cherry and spice. The moderately long finish shows some ripe tannin and balancing acidity.
2018 Holloran Tempranillo Ealo-Amity
The nose presents aromas of rich black berries mixed with notes of allspice. The mid-palate offers deep, pure black cherry flavors. Firm, ripe tannins surround the long finish. Drink 2021–2030. Extended decanting (2–3 hours or more) is highly recommended in the early years.
