Join hydrologist and researcher Skuyler Herzog for an insightful exploration of the science and philosophy behind river restoration across Central Oregon’s diverse watersheds. Drawing on research from Whychus Creek, the Upper Crooked River, and Thirtymile Creek, this talk will reveal how restoration impacts water flow, quality, and fish habitat. Beyond the data, Dr. Herzog invites us to consider deeper questions: What defines a successful restoration? What happens when our visions for recovery differ? And how can we find common ground in caring for our rivers?
