Ovation Performing Arts Presents Disney’s The Little Mermaid

Ovation Performing Arts proudly presents our OPA Forte cast’s inaugural voyage and seven seas of a show! Based on Hans Christian Andersen’s beloved story and the animated film, Disney’s The Little Mermaid is whimsical and deep, a timeless story of wonder, beauty, and impossible love. With music by eight-time Academy Award winner, Alan Menken, lyrics by Howard Ashman and Glenn Slater and book by Doug Wright, this Disney classic comes to Central Oregon with all the signature OPA color and scale. Featuring legendary songs like “Under the Sea,” “Kiss the Girl” and “Part of Your World” set to live orchestra, epic set, lighting, and costumes, and an ocean of dancers, The Little Mermaid delights actors and audiences alike.
