The Young Guns Special Feature at the Crooked River Roundup PRCA Rodeo, June 26-28, 2025, showcases emerging rodeo talent across six disciplines during nightly 7:00 PM performances. This exciting three-day competition features the next generation of rodeo athletes competing alongside professional cowboys and cowgirls, with rough stock events (bareback riding, saddle bronc riding, and bull riding) running two contestants per event on Thursday and Friday before a Saturday short go featuring the top two performers, while timed events (barrel racing, breakaway roping, and team roping) showcase three contestants per event nightly following PRCA standards. With free entry, mandatory 6:00 PM check-in at the PRCA rodeo office, and champions crowned in each event on Saturday night, this unique opportunity allows young athletes to perform on a professional stage and compete for recognition in junior, intermediate, and senior age divisions.
