General Duffy’s Waterhole is excited to host CJ Solar as the first show in the the 2023 Summer Kickin’ Concert Series in Downtown Redmond! Presented by Subaru of Bend.

Gates open at 4 pm

Opening Act starts at 6 pm

Headlining Act starts at 8:30 pm

Show ends at 10:00 pm

MONSTER TRUCK NITRO TOUR!

REDMOND, OR will be motorsport entertainment’s epicenter with the nation’s most competitive MONSTER TRUCKS as they invade the First Interstate Bank Center at the Deschutes County Fairgrounds on February 25th for TWO Monster shows! See these incredible 10,000-pound, car crushing giants compete in racing, wheelie contests, and then rock the house with amazing freestyle action during the Monster Truck Nitro Tour!

Come early, get up close and take photos of the Monster Trucks at the Pit Party Session. Pit party passes must be accompanied by an event ticket.

Both shows are on February 25, 2023 –
First show (matinee) starts at 1:30pm (Pit Party is 12:00pm – 1:00pm) *kids get a free tour gift at the matinee show, while supplies last
Second show starts at 7:30pm (Pit Party is 6:00pm – 7:00pm)

Adventure Van Expo

The Adventure Van Expo is all about those Sprinter vans you see around now! Built up and out vans with interior conversions and racks on the outside! We’ll have camping, open house vans, music and beverages. This is live and in person. See the best and finest vans in the world! Outside vans, RB components, Airstream, Winnebego Revel, Storyteller Overland, Tourig, Specialized Bike, Thule, locals Esplori, Adventure Wagon. Buy a van, meet a builder, buy an accessory! Learn about rentals and renting your van. Ticket is a suggested $10. Camping pass covers entry.

Hope Playground

A Place for All Kids

The sound of children’s laughter is often heard echoing past the dual zip lines and over a climbing wall replica of Smith Rock’s Monkey Face, just two of the seventy play items at Hope Playground in Redmond. Hope was designed to encourage interactive play for people of all abilities and ages. “It’s a great asset for Redmond, and an excellent way to draw attention to our town because it’s the largest inclusive playground in the Northwest,” said Charlie Rucker of the Redmond Chamber.

Behind the grassroots project is a group of Redmond moms who saw their dream for this inclusive playground become a reality last year. Today the 450-person capacity playground is both a destination and a point of civic pride for this booming bedroom community. Volunteers were integral to the completion of the playground—located in Sam Johnson Park—as was the $750,000 in donations, grants and in-kind labor.
