Peterson Ridge Rumble, Sisters

April 12

A trail event that supports local running programs and trail-building efforts in the Sisters community,  Courses wind through beautiful forests and ridge lines, The Peterson Ridge Rumble offers options from 20 miles, marathon, and 40 miles over varied terrain and with stunning ridge views. Many runners even bring their dogs. The Rumble, organized by Sean Meissner, is both cheaper and more easygoing than most races this length. Total elevation gain for the forty-miler is about 2,700 feet while the twenty-miler is about 1,000 feet, which contributes to a fast course. Instead of finisher shirts, runners will receive a pair of finisher socks, and enjoy showers and food after the race.

The race is old school and lowkey, Meissner said. “It’s just very runnable.” Learn more about the Peterson Ridge Rumble in Sisters, Oregon.
