Portland Winter Light Festival 10th Anniversary

Join us for the 10th annual Portland Winter Light Festival, celebrating a decade of illuminating art and creativity.

This free and inclusive event will take place from February 7 – February 15, 2025, at various locations throughout the city.

Event Highlights:

Theme: “A Light For Tomorrow: A Technicolor Future”—For our tenth year, we invite you to dive into the boundless world of technicolor transformation and explore how light shapes our future.

Festival Dates: Februay

Anchor Sites Open: February 7 & 8 and February 14 & 15 (Fridays and Saturdays only)
6 – 10 PM at Pioneer Courthouse Square, World Trade Center Plaza, and Electric Blocks.
Performances and Live Events: Times and specific locations will vary; see the schedule for details.
All Other Festival Pop-Up Locations: February 7 – 15, 6 – 10 PM unless otherwise noted

Bend Artists Studio Tour sponsored by SageBrushers Art Society of Bend

13 Bend artists look forward to welcoming you into their studios and gardens to learn first-hand the inspiration and process of their artistic creations.
Painters, Photographers, Sculptors, Glass and Metal artists will be sharing their work in 7 different locations in Bend. There is no entry fee and visitors are encouraged to design their own itinerary over the two day event. Ski for All

Join us for the 7th Annual Ski For All at Mt Bachelor on March 16th, 2024 to celebrate the OAS community and raise critical funds to support our mission to create high quality outdoor experiences for individuals with disabilities. The Ski For All Games are a rite of passage, designed to challenge even the world’s greatest and most fun loving skiers & riders to see who can truly have the BEST DAY EVER on snow!

Score as many points as possible by completing a variety of fun and inclusive challenges on the mountain. Prizes will be awarded to the top three participants in youth, teen, adult and masters age groups (inclusive of ability and gender). The more points you score the more raffle tickets you can redeem to win epic prizes at the After-Party at Bend Brewing Co!

Hoodoo’s Ski Bike Festival

The Hoodoo Skibike festival celebrates our love of alternative sports at Hoodoo. Hoodoo is unique in allowing full-mountain access for skibikes, Trikkes, snowskates and snow scoots. Skibiking is a fun, easy-to-learn activity that provides a safe and low-impact way to hit the slopes. This event is great for seasoned skibikers and for those who have always wanted to try the sport.

MONSTER TRUCK NITRO TOUR!

REDMOND, OR will be motorsport entertainment’s epicenter with the nation’s most competitive MONSTER TRUCKS as they invade the First Interstate Bank Center at the Deschutes County Fairgrounds on February 25th for TWO Monster shows! See these incredible 10,000-pound, car crushing giants compete in racing, wheelie contests, and then rock the house with amazing freestyle action during the Monster Truck Nitro Tour!

Come early, get up close and take photos of the Monster Trucks at the Pit Party Session. Pit party passes must be accompanied by an event ticket.

Both shows are on February 25, 2023 –
First show (matinee) starts at 1:30pm (Pit Party is 12:00pm – 1:00pm) *kids get a free tour gift at the matinee show, while supplies last
Second show starts at 7:30pm (Pit Party is 6:00pm – 7:00pm)

Central Oregon Comedy Scene brings the Best up and Coming comics from all over the US to right here to Central Oregon. $15 online /$20 at the door.

This September 16th at Seven Night Club we Present a Comedy Show Case. Doors Open at 7pm and show starts at 8pm.

Delaney Malone is a wild card comedian that is fearless and doesnt care what you think of her! She is chasing to be funny and let everyone know about it!

Steve Harper is a comedian from here in Central Oregon and is one of the OGs he has a wild past life that he can only hope his daughter doesnt live up too and he’s always worried about the littpe things he says as he raises her!

Geoff Boussaeu is a Comedian from Seattle Washington that has been in the game for 15 years! He has outlandish perceptions on life!

Rainshadow Organics Farm to Table Benefit Dinner – with HDFFA

HDFFA is teaming up with Rainshadow Organics to host a multi-course Farm to Table benefit dinner. Come share a meal in the garden where the culinary experience begins with local, nutrient dense, intentional cuisine and ends with an evening of tasty memories.

The culinary team at Rainshadow, lead by Chef Nic Maraziti, has crafted a three-course dinner for you to indulge yourself in. This meal celebrates the beauty in what is seasonally available and provides a true connection between food and agriculture on the plate.

The cash bar located in the garden boasts intentionally sourced wines that align with the tenets of their farm: organic, biodynamic, diverse, and regenerative. This incredible selection of natural wines supports winemakers who use the same growing practices as Rainshadow Organics.

Beverages such as beer and wine are sold separately.

All diets are welcome! Check the boxes if you have any allergies or restrictions.

Film Tour follows the love of cycling from around the globe. Whether it’s winding singletrack, picturesque gravel rides, and grueling through tough road climbs – experience a passion and love for cycling brought to life with this special Film Tour.

Newberry Event Music & Arts Festival to Defeat MS

Tal Wilkenfeld headlines the 7th Annual Newberry Event Charity Music Festival!

Central Oregon’s 7th Annual Newberry Event Music and Arts Festival to Defeat MS is a three-day outdoor summer multi-genre music festival well-known as a good time for a good cause. July 26, 27, 28, 2019. Main acts Friday are Portland’s Indubious reggae, opening for Pigs on the Wing Pink Floyd tribute band in the beautiful outdoor intimate venue. For over a decade, Indubious brothers Evton and Skip Burton, have shared their instrumental skills, powerful harmonies, and electrifying performances, “raising the positive vibrations of our planet, to help others express the true loving nature within us all.” Pigs on the Wing’s intense live performances are an expansive audio-visual experience.

Saturday night headlines Tal Wilkenfeld, a 32 year old Australian born bass and guitar phenom who has performed alongside artists including Jeff Beck, Prince, Eric Clapton, Herbie Hancock and Mick Jagger. Hosted on rural residential acreage, DiamondStone Guest Lodge is 25 miles south of Bend, between Sunriver and La Pine. With over 20 bands on 2 rotating stages, the lawns, shady aspens & pines of So. Deschutes County create a beautiful outdoor concert setting.

Enjoy awesome music and dancing in the grass 10am-10pm. Tent camping is free and RV sites available. Kids under age 13 are free. With many vendors – great food (breakfast too), Sunriver Brewing Co. beers, Kombucha, ciders and distillery vendors, you’ll find everything you need for the day or weekend. You’ll also enjoy dancers, homemade arts & crafts, and a silent auction plus raffles of incredible fine art and merchandise. See good reviews on Facebook and Google. Don’t miss it!

The festival just received the state’s “Hidden Gem Festival Award” at the annual meeting of the Oregon Festivals and Events Association.The 501c3 charity benefits the Oregon National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
