The holiday season has truly begun in Bend. This week, join one of the many Halloween events around town, or watch the traditional Nutcracker ballet performance. There’s also the annual Deschutes Brewery Warehouse party, a running event for women, and a pop-up museum event for kids and families.
There are a ton of Halloween events to take part in this year. For kids and families, head downtown to trick-or-treat at the local businesses, then go to the Tower Theatre for a costume contest and magic show (tickets available here.) If you’re near the Old Mill District, there’s a Kid’s Halloween Party with hay rides, a costume contest, a reptile petting zoo, and Halloween arts and crafts. You can also take the family trick-or-treating at Brookswood Meadow Plaza. For the adults, take part in a Halloween tradition at Midtown Ballroom, where there will be a screening of the Rocky Horror Picture Show. There’s also going to be a party at Spoken Moto.
